Cleaning the paper feed rollers

With frequent use of coated paper, paper dust from
the coated surfaces of such media accumulates
around the paper feed rollers and could cause
misfeeds and paper jams. Use the Roller Cleaning
Plate provided with the printer to periodically clean the
paper feed rollers.

To perform this procedure you will need:

• The Roller Cleaning Plate provided with the printer.

• Two sheets of plain paper.

1 Dampen the two patches on the Roller Cleaning Plate

with water.

• If you see water on the front or back surface of the

Roller Cleaning Plate, wipe it dry.

2 Press the POWER button to switch the printer on.
