Cleaning the printer
If the paper output slot or paper feed rollers are dirty,
paper will not feed correctly and the printouts could be
marked with ink stains and streaks.

Cleaning the paper output slot
1 Press the POWER button to switch the printer off then
unplug the printer.
• Always switch off the printer with the
POWER button before you unplug the
printer.
2 Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the area around the
paper output slot.
• To avoid causing a fire, never use thinner,
acetone, benzene, alcohol, or any other type
of strong solvent to clean the surface of the
printer.
• Before you clean the printer always switch
the printer off and disconnect the power
cord.
