An SD card has been inserted and the status bar on the display shows the symbol
for SD card inserted.

Navigate to the "Settings" screen and select the menu item "Record data", see
Chapter 6.1 "Navigating the menu", page 44.

Select the option "On".

When a distillation process is started, the SD card inserted symbol changes to the
symbol
for recording process data.

Solvent library
The Interface I-300 Pro has an internal solvent library. Stored in that library are the
most common solvents together with an algorithm in each case. Based on the chemi-
cal properties of the solvent, the algorithm calculates and dynamically sets the ideal
vacuum according to the current readings for heating bath and coolant temperature.
That means that the distillation process can be started immediately even if the ideal
heating bath and coolant temperatures have not yet been reached.

Using the solvent library
A distillation process can be started directly from the solvent library. Alternatively, the
process parameters can be copied from a specific solvent and manually edited before
starting the distillation process.
