Ad-Hoc Mode

For Windows, after installing the printer driver and other applications to your computer, set the Ad-Hoc mode
using the Printer Setting Tool installed on the computer.
For Mac, set the Ad-Hoc mode using the Wireless Device Setup Wizard.
Turning the Wireless Function On or Off

To turn the wireless function on or off, press the
(Wi-Fi) button.

Press the
(Wi-Fi) button. The wireless function is now on. The
(Wi-Fi) indicator lights/flashes in
green.

Press the
(Wi-Fi) button again to turn the wireless function off. The
(Wi-Fi) indicator turns off.

• If [
Off
] is selected in the [
Direct Mode
On/Off
] and [
Infrastructure Mode
On/Off
] screen, the
wireless function will remain off even if you press the
(Wi-Fi) button. (The factory setting is "On" for both
Direct mode and Infrastructure mode.) For more information see

• When the wireless function is on, the Li-ion battery power will decrease quickly. To change the power
source, connect the AC adapter.
