Checking the Operation of Network Devices

wireless access point/router are not
turned on

Make sure you have performed all of the tasks on page 198.

I do not know my P-touch labeling
system network settings, such as the
IP address

Changing the P-touch Labeling System

Can you ping your P-touch labeling
system from your computer?

Ping your P-touch labeling system from your computer using the IP address or
the node name.



Successful: Your P-touch labeling system is working correctly and
connected to the same network as your computer.



Unsuccessful: Your P-touch labeling system is not connected to the same
network as your computer.

Contact the network administrator.

You can confirm the IP address or the node name by printing the P-touch
labeling system settings report.
