Requirements
3.2.1
Hardware
R
The work bench for the EPS 200 must be able to
withstand loads of > 150 kg and must have a fixed,
buckle resistant and stable top.
R
To ensure adequate ventilation for the EPS 200, the
gap between the back of the unit and the wall must
be at least 30 centimeters. To prevent overheating,
it must be ensured that the vent grilles on the back
and underside of the EPS 200 are not closed off.
R
Never expose the EPS 200 to direct sunlight. There
should also not be any other sources of heat (for
example radiators) in the immediate vicinity of the
unit.
R
Compressed air connection with maintenance
unit for conditioning of compressed air to provide
dry, filtered, clean and unoiled compressed air in
compliance with ISO 8573-1 with a set air pressure
of 0.5 MPa to 0.8 MPa.
R
The EPS 200 may only be operated with test oil
complying with ISO 4113.

Never feed diesel fuel into the EPS 200.
R
The EPS 200 must be placed in the oil collector
provided. The minimum dimensions of the oil
collecting trough are 30 x 570 x 720 mm (H x W x D).
The maximum height of the oil collector is 35 mm.
R
Only connect the EPS 200 to a grounded,
symmetrical three-phase power supply with the
set local voltage ±10% and a mains frequency of
50/60 Hz. The three-phase power supply must also
be fuse protected by an FI switch with a rated fault
current of 30 mA.

For the jet pattern test, we recommend an external
extractor with oil separator for the oil mist.

Injectors with a coil resistance under 3 Ohm may be
tested.
i
Only printers approved by Bosch should be connected.

Training
The EPS 200 may only be operated by specialist
personnel trained in diesel testing and instructed in its
use. We recommend user training
