SCPS Command Summary
Command
Description (Access required)
Connect
Accesses devices from the serial CLI port
(Port-specifi c).
Disconnect
Ends a device session initiated with Connect
command (None).
Help
Displays information about commands (None).
Port Alert Add
Adds a port alert string (SCON).
Port Alert Copy
Copies a port’s alert strings to another
port (SCON).
Port Alert Delete
Deletes one or more port alert strings (SCON).
Port Break
Sends a break signal to the attached
device (Break).
Port History
Accesses the port history buffer (None).
Port Logout
Terminates the SCPS session on a specifi ed
port (User).
Port Set
Changes port settings (SCON or PCON).
Quit
Terminates the current SCPS session (None).
Resume
Resumes device connection after being in CLI
mode (None).
Server CLI
Specifi es the serial CLI port, port type and access
character; enables/disables device connection
from the CLI port; specifi es a modem initialization
string; specifi es port history mode operations and
a port time-out value (SCON).
Server FLASH
Updates the SCPS FLASH (SCON).
Server PPP
Enables/disables a PPP server on the serial CLI
port (SCON).
Server RADIUS
Specifi es RADIUS server parameters (SCON).
Server Reboot
Reboots the SCPS (SCON).
Server Security
Specifi es user authentication (SCON).
Server Set
Changes SCPS addresses (SCON).
Server SNMP
Enables/disables UDP port 161 SNMP processing
(SCON).
Server SNMP Community
Defi nes read, write and trap community
strings (SCON).
Server SNMP Manager
Defi nes/deletes SNMP management
entities (SCON).
Server SNMP Trap
Enables/disables SNMP traps (SCON).
