Server PPP Command Parameters
Parameter Description
DISABLE Disables the PPP server.
ENABLE Enables the PPP server.
LOCALIP=< local_ip > IP address to be used to connect the SCPS over the PPP
connection. Must be on same subnet as REMOTEIP address.
REMOTEIP=< rem_ip > IP address to assign to the PPP client end of the PPP
connection. Must be on same subnet as LOCALIP address.
MASK=< subnet > LAN subnet for the PPP dial-in client.
Examples
The following command enables the PPP server with a local IP address of 192.168.0.1,
a remote IP address of 192.168.0.2 and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0.
> ser ppp ena loc=192.168.0.1 rem=192.168.0.2 mas=255.255.255.0
The following command enables the PPP server with previously configured IP and
subnet mask values. This form of the command would not be valid unless the IP and
subnet mask values had been previously configured.
> server ppp enable
Server RADIUS command
The Server RADIUS command defines or deletes RADIUS parameters for the SCPS
RADIUS client. For more information, see RADIUS authentication in Chapter 4.
When you enter this command, you are asked to confirm or cancel the specified changes.
