The Lumax 300/340 HF CRT-Ds (Lumax 300 HF-T, and
Lumax 340 HF-T) are intended to operate for more than 5 years
under normal use.
5.2.2 Lumax 500/540 Devices
The single chamber Lumax 500/540 variants (Lumax 500 VR-T,
and Lumax 540 VR-T) of ICDs are intended to operate for more
than 6 years under normal use.
Table 31 provides longevity
estimates for these devices. The table provides several different
support scenarios. It is assumed that the shocks are equally
spaced throughout the life of the ICD.
