Maintenance
Motor Gearbox and Torque Plate Replacement
Note:
The wiring to each Motor must be removed to gain access to the bottom of the Gearbox. There
you can inspect and change the flat head bolts used to mount the Torque Plate.

DISCONNECT MAIN POWER SUPPLY PRIOR TO SERVICING
OR MAINTAINING EQUIPMENT
Remove Motor Gearbox & Torque Plate Assembly
1) Turn off the power and place the disconnects in the OFF position.
Note:
To ensure safety we recommend following the Lockout procedure stated above for the main
panel prior to servicing the equipment.
2) Remove the plastic Cover from the Cover Base by removing the (2) Phillips head screws. See
the image below.
Note:
Removing the Cover will allow access to the Motor Gearbox mounted on the Torque Studs.
3) Remove the Junction Box Cover to gain access to the wiring on the side of the Motor.
4) Check the voltage at the Junction Box with a multi-meter to ensure all power has been properly
removed from the circuit and no power is being supplied to the equipment.
5) Confirm that the wiring has been tagged for terminal location if not previously identified upon
installation. Remove the nuts to release wiring from the Terminal Block. See the image below.

Step 2:
Remove the Upper Motor
Cover by removing the two
(2) Phillips head screws.

Step 3 & 4:
Remove the Junction Box Cover
to access the Motor Wires. Check
voltage at Junction Box with a
multi-meter to ensure no power is
being supplied to the equipment.
Step 5:
Confirm wiring has been tagged
and remove nuts to release wiring
from Terminal Block.
