Installation
Connect the Motor/Gearbox and Slip Ring to the Drive Shaft
10) Slide the Slip Ring Assembly onto the Slip Ring Shaft, secure the Slip Ring to the Torque Mount,
and tighten the four (4) setscrews located on the Inside Shaft Collar on the Slip Ring.
11) When the Slip Ring is secure, route the output side wires on the Slip Ring down through the center
of the Drive Shaft to the slot in the middle of the Drive Shaft. The Slip Ring Wire will be connected
to the Wire Harness later in the installation.
12) Apply Loctite Red 271 to the Wire Clamp Fasteners and reattach the Wire Clamp to the top of the
Slip Ring Shaft. Install the Wire Clamp perpendicular to the Slip Ring Wires that have been routed
through the center of the Drive Shaft.
13) Leave the top of the Motor/Gearbox Cover off until after the electrical connections for the Slip Ring
and Motor are completed.

Screws.
Step 10b:
Route the Slip Ring
Wires through center of
the Drive Shaft.
Step 11:
Slide the Slip Ring onto the
Slip Ring Shaft and secure it to
the Torque Mount.
Step 10a:
Torque Mount
Apply Loctite Red 271 to the
Fasteners and install the Wire Clamp
perpendicular to the wires.
