Monthly 

1.

 

Lube the cargo pump drive line (do not over grease). 

2.

 

Lube the PTO drive line or, if equipped, the crank drive line (do not 

over grease). 

3.

 

Check gear oil level in the hydraulic motor gear box (if applicable) 

75W-140. 

4.

 

Check condition of all hoses; air, hydraulic and asphalt. 

5.

 

Check the condition of the wiring conduit and housing 

connections. 

6.

 

Check that the asphalt tank vent is clear. 
 

Annual 

1.

 

Test the hydraulic fluid and change if necessary, using 

recommended oil (ISO 46). 

2.

 

Change the hydraulic filters. (Older trucks may only have one) 

3.

 

Inspect the heat flue liner. 

4.

 

Inspect the tank vent for build up and remove any that is found. 

5.

 

Check the bar for level and height setting. 
 

Storage 

1.

 

It is best to leave diesel in the bar. 

2.

 

During winter be sure the bar and tank valve have been drained of 

emulsions.  Water will freeze and crack the bar and valve. 

 

These are intended to be MINIMUM recommendations.  Correct and 
repair all failures immediately.  Failure to do so may void your warranty.
