X-Agora Agent
The X-Agora Agent runs on each computer in the X-Agora network, coordinating and
synchronizing each player application in the network with the central server. In short,
the agent links each machine with the brains of the operation—the server.
8.8.1
Requirements
For X-Agora to work properly, X-Agora Agent has to run at all times. A Windows service
called
XAgoraAgentWatchdog
enforces this requirement.
X-Agora Agent requires that the CodeMeter Control Center be installed and running
at all times. This will have been configured during the installation of X-Agora. When
your Windows session starts, the Agent Watchdog service makes sure that X-Agora
Agent is running in the Windows desktop session running the CodeMeter Control
Center.
For more information on the CodeMeter Control Center, see
Licensing (p.34)
.
