Reinstalling the Card Guide Assembly
The card guide assembly has six 4-inch guides and six 6-inch guides. You may need
to adjust the card guides to fit the NuBus cards before you reinstall the assembly.
To adjust the card guides:
1. Adjust the card guides to match the height of the NuBus cards in the various
slots (see Figure 32).
2. Remove the guides from the mounting plate by squeezing the nylon holding
pins together with needle-nose pliers and pushing them through the plate.

When two or more of the 4-inch card guides are side-by-side they interlock. You’ll
need to remove all the connected guides, disconnect the ones that you don’t want, and
then reinstall the remaining guides.
3. Install the card guide assembly in the Expansion Chassis. Make sure that the
card guides fit properly so the fingers hold the NuBus cards in place.
