Connecting the 3D Effects Cable
The 3D Effects cover is a SCSI device that attaches to the Macintosh built-in SCSI
bus. To connect the 3D Effects cover:
1. Locate the 25-pin male to 25-pin male SCSI cable. It is approximately 30
inches long.
2. Attach one end of the cable to the SCSI connector on the 3D Effects cover (see
Figure 45). Tighten the thumb screws to secure the connector.

3. Attach the other end of the cable to the SCSI connector on the back of the
Macintosh. Tighten the thumb screws to secure the connector.

The 3D Effects cover is a self-terminating SCSI device. It requires no external
SCSI terminator. If you have other devices on the Macintosh SCSI bus, make
sure that the 3D Effects cover is the last device in the SCSI chain.
