Reconnecting the External Cables
Reconnect all the external cables that were removed at the beginning of the
installation. Throughout the hardware manuals, whenever you are instructed to
connect a cable to a board in the Macintosh, you should now connect to that same
board in the chassis. Carefully check the labels when replacing the cables to make
sure that you connect the correct cable to each connector.

Reconnecting the SCSI Cables
Reconnect the SCSI cable that attaches the Avid disk drives to the SE IV SCSI card
(see Figure 30). This is a 68-pin high-density D connector. Tighten the thumb
screws to secure the connector. For more detailed information on connecting disk
drives, see the manual for the particular device in the Avid Hardware binder.

Be careful not to bend any of the pins in the cable connector as you make the
connection.
