Cutting the Shielding
Before you attach the 3D Effects cover to the Expansion Chassis, you need to
remove the EMI/RFI shielding from the back edge of the chassis. To remove the
shielding:
1. Use a pocket knife, or similar cutting implement, to cut the shielding at each of
the back corners of the chassis. Make sure that the cuts are square with the
inside edges of the side flanges of the chassis (see Figure 38).
2. Peel the shielding and the glue off the back edge of the chassis.

Note that you must remove all of the glue for the cover hinge to seat properly.
You may need to scrape off the glue with a knife.
