Serial Interface Specifications
(23) GRS (Part binary registration)
Register the part by designating the part No. and part filename.
t0: Part number (30001 - 32000)
t1: Part filename (extension is ".SMB")
t2: Part itself (binary string)
(24) SVL (Layout save to memory card)
Save the layout file developed on RAM to the memory card.
(25) SVG (Part save to memory card)
Save the part data developed on RAM to the memory card.
t0: Part number (All parts are targeted when this is omitted.)
Example
When registering a part as "BUHIN.SMB" with Part No. 30001
Computer ->
Marker
: GRS30001,BUHIN.SMB,204E000... (binary string)
[When using a part file registered with GRS command on LMDraw6]
When using a part file registered with GRS command on LMDraw6, you need to apply the following
procedures.
1 Save the part file to the memory card with SVG command.
2 Take LMDraw6 offline, then take it online again. (When LMDraw6 is already in offline, take it
online.)
Computer ->
Marker
: SVL
Example
When saving the part No. 30001 on RAM to the memory card.
Computer ->
Marker
: SVG30001
・
When a part has been registered on the specified number, the layout is
overwritten.
・
Use the binary file created with LMDraw6 for the part itself.
・
The correctness of binary data for part itself is not checked.
・
When the binary data for the layout itself is incorrect, the data error occurs at
marking start.
・
When the binary data for the part itself is incorrect, the data error occurs at
marking start.
・
Since amount of communication data is limited, up to 2 KB of data can be
registered.
・
Part data is registered on RAM only, not saved to the memory card.
Neglecting to do this will cause the following to occur:
・
When you have transferred layouts, variable data, or barcodes (Code 39, ITF,
DataMatrix, or QR codes) from LMDraw6, part files registered with GRS
commands will be deleted.
When all parts are targeted, it takes some time to save them.
