Maintenance
We recommend backing up memory card data to your computer periodically to be prepared in case of
accidents.
When inserting the memory card, be careful not to break a pin of the memory card slot.
Also be sure to save a copy of the data before using the equipment for the first time.
Data backup requires a CF card reader or CF adapter. Please prepare your own device.

Memory Card Backup

Connect the CF card reader or adapter to a computer. Ensure that the computer recognizes the
memory card.
For details, refer to the documentation of the compact flash device.

Double-click the [My Computer] icon to confirm the memory card is correctly recognized.
If the memory card drive is displayed under My Computer, you are ready to start backing up the
card. If not, refer to the documentation of the compact flash device for details.

The memory card structure is as follows:

SYSTEM folder
•
AUTORUN file
•
Stsfile file
•
feel file

Select all content on the memory card (all folders and files) and copy it to the computer's hard disk
drive.
Store the backup files you copied in a safe location in case data on the card is accidentally lost or
corrupted.

Restoring Backup Data
Return backed-up data to the memory card as follows:

Double-click the [My Computer] icon to confirm the memory card is correctly recognized.
If the memory card drive is displayed under My Computer, you are ready to start backing up the

Delete all content on the memory card (all folders and files).

Copy all content you backed up (all folders and files) to the memory card.
The backed-up data has now been returned to the memory card.
