Chapter 6 Installation

ML-73 □ 0EL, Standard Head Unit
Refer to the following figure when installing the Head Unit.
Install the Head Unit in a well-ventilated location. Because marking may produce dust and particulates,
we recommend installing a dust collector.
Required Clearance and Mass Support:
A. Clearance on top At least 250 mm
B. Clearance on left and right At least 100 mm
C. Clearance in front At least 100 mm
D. Clearance in back At least 200 mm
E. Withstand mass 4 kg
• Ensure the bending radius of the optical fiber at the back of Head Unit and Control Unit is at
least 150 mm.
• When moving the Head Unit, hold the unit by the bottom surfaces of front and back to avoid
touching the lens. Do not hold it by the optical fiber, other cables or the laser output part.
