The Alpha XM3-HP CableUPS detects battery alarms and displays the type of active alarm in the Smart Display screen
and the severity of alarm (e.g., Major/Minor) by means of the Inverter Module LEDs.

If desired, the No Battery alarm can be disabled by changing the Number of Battery Strings or Battery Capacity to “0” in
the BATT CONFIG menu.
Setting the number of strings or capacity to 0 will disable the inverter, and the unit will no longer have backup
capability. When installing batteries, set the number of batteries and the battery type or battery capacity to enable
battery charger and allow the XM3 to go into Self Test and Standby.
