ADVANCED STEPPER
ADVANCED STEPPER MODE
To select the ADVANCED STEPPER mode, advance to the 'PISTON SEQUENCER'
window function
(see Section A-2)
.
Press the
CURSOR
button to position the
cursor on the mode value line.
Turn the
ROTARY DIAL
to select
ADVANCED STEPPER mode.
To use the ADVANCED STEPPER, return to the
Main
Window
function. Press and hold the
SET
piston.
Then, while holding
SET
, press the
CANCEL.
USING THE ADVANCED STEPPER
If the ADVANCED STEPPER mode is active,
the abbreviation “AS” will appear on the
second line of the display. Using the
pistons/toe studs labeled “+” or “
―
“, the
ADVANCED STEPPER will step up or down
sequentially through all General Piston
positions and through all capture memory
levels, stopping when either extreme is reached.
To start ADVANCED STEPPER, select a
capture memory level
(see Section A-3)
and
then press General piston #1. The registration
associated with the selected capture memory
level and General piston #1 will register on
the stops and the display will indicate that
General #1 has been pressed. This will also set the SIMPLE STEPPER’s starting step
position.
Note:
Pressing the “+” or “
―
“ piston will also select General #1 and also set the
ADVANCED STEPPERS starting step position.
