SEARCHING...
Press the
CURSOR
button to position the
cursor on the Transport
Control Function.
Turn the
ROTARY DIAL
to select the
“SRCH” control function.
The “SRCH” function scans the MIDI song from the beginning of the MIDI song file up to
the current counter position for any messages pertaining to the organ's stop registrations
and expression data. The Sequencer will setup the organ with the scanned settings so it is
prepared to resume recording the MIDI song file from the current selected counter position.
To begin the “SRCH” function, press the
MEMORY
button.
When “SRCH” has completed, the display will
indicate the MIDI song file is ready to resume
recording by changing the Transport Control
Function to “FWD”.
Press the
MEMORY
button to resume
recording. The counter
will start counting from the
current counter value to
indicate that recording has
resumed.
Note:
The PAUS and STOP control functions of the Sequencer will operate in the same
manner as described in Section 2f.
Important!
If the counter value selected is “out of range” or past the end of the MIDI
song and the “SRCH” function is processed, the Sequencer will resume recording at the
selected counter value. If this occurs, there could be a “dead” area within the MIDI song
without any data.
