Important!
If a selected capture file number
already exists when starting the save process,
the display will indicate “ERR FILE
EXISTS!” and the capture data save will not be
saved. To continue, delete the current selected
capture file number or select a different
capture file number.
C. ADVANCED OPERATION
1. Selecting an Alternate Tuning
Advance to the ‘ALTERNATE TUNING’ window function
(see section A-2)

Allen Organs offer eight
Alternate Tunings,
plus one standard tuning
.
These tunings are
accessible from the GeniSys™ Controller. To select an
Alternate Tuning,
press the
CURSOR
button on the GeniSys™ Controller until the cursor is positioned on the
Alternate Tuning name
(line 2)
. Turn the
ROTARY DIAL
to select one of the eight
available tunings. The organ’s overall tuning will be changed to the selected
Alternate
Tuning
, by actuating the stop control engraved “ALTERNATE TUNING”.
The selected tuning will remain
the
Alternate Tuning
until:
Another
Alternate Tuning
is selected in the GeniSys™ Controller,
Or, the stop control is turned off.
Any time the ALTERNATE TUNING stop is off, the organ reverts to a standard general
purpose tuning.
Note:
The remaining tunings are of historical interest, but are limited in
application to modern music. When selected, it is normal for some intervals to sound out
of tune.
