Command Usage
Specify Foreign Exchange Office (FXO) Loop Start time between ring cycles to detect ringing.

Remarks
The
voice signaling protocol
command must be set to the corresponding protocol type before
any commands for E&M (Wink Start, Immediate Start, and Delay Start Signaling), and FXS/
FXO (Loop and Ground Start) commands will take effect.

Definitions:
slot
Specifies chassis slot number where VSM is installed, (e.g.,

).
port Specifies physical port number on voice daughtercard, (e.g.,

).
startChannel
The first number in the range of voice channels (e.g.,

).
endChannel The last number in the range of voice channels (e.g.,
30
).

Be sure to separate the start and end range numbers with a
hyphen (e.g.,
1-30
).
value Specifies the time period between ring cycles (ringing pulse plus time between ring pulses)
to detect ringing, in milliseconds from 1 to 60,000, (e.g.,
2000
)

use commas when entering the fxo ls between ring
cycles ring detection value (for example,
10,000
will return a
syntax error message).
Default:
The default value is
2000
milliseconds.
