Board Carrier Bottom Heating-Maintain
Function:
Activates the closed loop maintain function of the bottom heaters based on a thermocouple
input to control and limit board temperature through out the process.
Action:
The process is activated and turned off by the start/stop function. The bottom heater (heater)
sections are selected to the target temperature of the heaters (temperature). The selected thermocou-
ple input (channel) controls the process by monitoring the board and when the temperature is reached
(channel temperature (
º
c) the bottom heaters (heater) are turned off. If the channel temperature is ex-
ceeded the low flow board cooling system is then turned on until the board is cooled a few degrees
below the channel temperature. When the board temperature is lower than the channel temperature the
board cooling system will be off and the heaters reactivated.
Task Properties:
Heater:
Section #1-#3. Activates the 3 sections of the bottom heater. (#1 in front)
Temperature (º C):
Sets the bottom heater temperature for all sections selected.
Channel:
IR Manual, TC01-TC08. Indicates and selects the IR temperature sensor or a thermocouple
channel for board temperature monitoring.
Channel Temperature (º C):
Sets the target and limit temperature of the object/board. If the channel
temperature is exceeded the flow board cooling system is then turned on until the board is cooled a few
degrees below the channel temperature. When the board temperature is lower than the channel tem-
perature the board cooling system will be off and the heaters reactivated.
Start/Stop Function:
Activates and turns off the maintain function.
Note: Maintain function will be activated until programmed to be turned off.
