Operating Notes - IMPORTANT!:
Electrical:
-
The DRS27 is supplied with either the above plugs or a disconnect box on the frame. The plug
or disconnect arrangement is the means to have the machine be locked in the “Off” position.
See Maintenance section for details of Lockout Tagout. The Euro versions are to wired accord-
ing to local electrical codes and are to be provided with a means of disconnect and lockout.
-
This system is designed to operate on 208 VAC.
-
Under full load conditions
, power must not drop below 205 VAC. Full load is defined as
DRS27 fully operating, plus all other equipment down the line fully operating. If 205 VAC is not
met, a buck up transformer or another line must be connected. Under general conditions, expect
incoming line voltage to drop approximately 3-10 volts.
-
Under no load conditions, power must not exceed 220 VAC (US).
-
If the PC and monitor are connected to a separate power source, or connected through a volt-
age regulator, the machine minimum voltage is 200 VAC.
-
In areas susceptible to frequent power disturbances, line filtering/protection may be required.
