The IR sensor will monitor the board temperature. It is displayed under Thermocouple System. The
bottom heater is displayed and will heat the board until the set/programmed temperature is reached.

Events #8-11: Presoak, Soak, Ramp, Reflow 1
There is no operator involvement during these events. The programmed heating of the BGA is automatic.
These are timed events. The total time is displayed at the bottom left of the Run screen.
Event #12: Reflow 2
There is no operator involvement during this event. The heating events are finished. Cool air will be
controlled through the nozzle and the board cooling system. This is a timed event based on the
programmer.
Event #13: Heaters Off
There is no operator involvement during this event. The preheater and upper heater are turned off.
Event #14: Machine and Board Cooldown
There is no operator involvement during this event. This is a timed event for 50 seconds. The nozzle
moves up. The board cooling system air flow is set to high flow. The upper heater is set to low
temperature/high flow.
Event #15: Remove Board (Process Complete)
This is a timed event for 5 seconds. The nozzle retracts to its top position. The board carrier cooling
system is turned off. The upper heater is turned off. At the end of the process the operator has three
options:
