tions from the telephone book is available in the abbreviated form.
Make your selection
immediately
, using the initial letters of the entry you are
looking for. If there is more than one entry with the same initial letter, select the
one you want using the arrow key. When you lift the handset, the telephone
number stored under the entry will be dialled. In the case of entries with more
than one telephone number, the preferred number will be dialled. If an entry has
several telephone numbers, you can also select one explicitly. Press the OK key and
select
Office
,
Mobile
or
Private
. Confirm your selection with the OK key
and
Dial
(or by lifting the handset).
2.7.3 Speed Dialling
All central telephone book entries can also be selected by two-digit or three-digit
speed-dialling numbers once they have been configured. The two-digit speed-
dialling numbers are in the range 00…99, the three-digit are in the range
000…999. Ask your system administrator how many digits are valid.
