Connection using Serial port
Only to be used if you already using serial port as communication channel.

Write a name in the
Connection Name
box.

Select
Serial Port
from the
Port Settings
drop down menu
•
Select the correct COM port from drop down list
•
Select the baud rate, refer chapter 3.3
•
Press
OK
•
Press
Open Port
and the connection to the SmartGuard should be established within a few seconds
(If not then check that correct port and port settings are used)
