Getting To Know Your Prestige

LAN/DMZ Interface

The Prestige provides a LAN port that can function as a virtual DeMilitarized Zone (DMZ) port. Public
servers (Web, FTP, etc.) attached to the DMZ port are visible to the outside world (while still being protected
from DoS (Denial of Service) attacks such as SYN flooding and Ping of Death) and can also be accessed
from the secure LAN.

Dynamic DNS Support

With Dynamic DNS support, you can have a static hostname alias for a dynamic IP address, allowing the
host to be more easily accessible from various locations on the Internet. You must register for this service
with a Dynamic DNS service provider.

Multiple PVC (Permanent Virtual Circuits) Support

Your Prestige supports up to 8 PVC’s.

Full-Rate (ANSI T1.413, Issue 2; G.dmt (G.992.1) with line rate support of up to 8 Mbps
downstream and 832 Kbps upstream.
