Installing XANTÉ Command Center
Your controller package includes a special utility called Command
Center. This utility allows you to go through Windows instead of
DOS to set up your controller for Novell NetWare. (See “XANTÉ
Command Center” at the end of this chapter for information on
functions available through this utility.)
Command Center setup differs for Windows 3.1 or 3.11 and for
Windows 95. This section covers both setups. Once Command
Center is installed, see chapter 6 for details on using Novell NetWare
and TCP/IP software.
Command Center Setup
(Windows 3.1 or 3.11)
1. With your Command Center disk in drive A or B, open
Windows 3.1 or 3.11.
2. Go to Program Manager, click File, then click Run.
3. At the prompt in the dialog box, type
A:\SETUP
or
B:\SETUP
depending on the drive you used in step 1.
4. Click OK. The utility will install itself.
Command Center Setup
(Windows 95)
1. With your Command Center disk in drive A or B, open
Windows 95.
2. Click Start, then click Run.
3. Type
A:\SETUP
or
B:\SETUP
depending on which drive
you used in step 2.
4. Click OK. The utility installs itself.
