Your controller ships with a default CRD in ROM. The controller
uses this CRD as the default until you specify another CRD as the
default. XANTÉ provides additional CRDs on your controller’s
SCSI disk and on the utilities disks. You can use these or create your
own custom CRDs with a Colortron or similar device.
Using the CRD Selection feature in the PPD, you can select either
the designated default CRD (Printer’s Default) or any of the CRDs in
the controller’s library on a job by job basis. See “CRD Selection”
under “Using the Controller’s PPD” in chapter 6 for details.
Using XANTÉ Command Center, you can add, delete, and rename
CRDs to create and manage a library of CRDs on your controller’s
disk. You can specify one of these CRDs for the controller to use as
the default.
To access the CRDs on your controller’s disk
1. Open Command Center.
2. Select CRD Directories… from the Color menu (for a
Macintosh) or CRD Directory… from the Controller menu (for
a PC). Command Center accesses the controller and displays a
list of the CRDs that currently reside on your controller’s disk.
