5-8 Configuration

After selecting an item you can press the left arrow

←

key and

→

key to select a different item, press the Reset

↑

key to

back out of the submenu, or press the On Line key to leave the
menu structure entirely.

For example, if you want to change the controller’s measurement
from English to metric units, do the following:

Make sure the controller is on and idle.

Press the MENU

→

key until SETUP:MISC (the

Miscellaneous menu) appears in the display window.

Press the Enter

↓

key to select the Miscellaneous menu.

Press the Menu

→

key until MISC:UNITS appears in the

display window.

Press the Enter

↓

key to enter the Units menu.

Press the Menu

→

key until units:metric appears, if necessary.

If the menu name is capitalized, then metric is already the
default setting; skip to step 8.

Press the Enter

↓

key to select units:metric. The selection

changes to all capital letters, UNITS:METRIC, in the display
window.

Press the On Line key. READY/IDLE appears in the display
window.

The controller now has metric selected as the default unit setting.
