The Hold Menu
The Hold menu, PRINTER1:HOLD, allows you to stop the job in
progress on printer 1 until further action is taken. A
PRINTER HELD
message appears in the display window until the job is resumed,
restarted, or cancelled. Once you are in the Hold menu, press the Enter
↓
key to put the printer on hold.
The Resume Menu
The Resume menu, PRINTER1:RESUME, allows the job on printer
1 to begin printing at the place where it left off when you selected
PRINTER:HOLD.
The Restart Menu
The Restart menu, PRINTER1:RESTART, allows you to restart the
print job on printer 1 from the beginning. This option can be used with
or without using the Hold option first. Once you are in the Restart menu,
press the Enter
↓
key to restart the print job from the beginning.
The Cancel Menu
The Cancel menu, PRINTER1:CANCEL, allows you to cancel the
printing job on printer 1. Once you are in the Cancel menu, press the
Enter
↓
key to cancel the job. A
CONFIRM
message appears in the
display window. Press the Enter
↓
key again to confirm cancelling
the job.
Note: The fastest way to print a large number or copies is using the
Job menu Hold and Restart options for the designated
printer. For example, to print 38 copies quickly, send 20 to
the printer; when 18 or 19 copies have printed, select the
Hold and then the Restart options. The job will start back
printing at copy one again.
