Finish setting up for Novell using Command Center using the
following second procedure.

Note:

The Windows driver must have been installed before doing
the second half of this setup. This driver should have been
installed during Windows setup following the procedure in
chapter 4.

1.

Open Windows.

2.

Go to Control Panels in the Main Window.

3.

Click PRINTERS.

4.

Highlight the controller’s name.

5.

Go to SETUP.

6.

Go to PS OPTIONS.

7.

Make sure protocol is set to NONE/APPLETALK. This
ensures that a ^D character is not inserted at the end of print
job.

8.

Make sure PS Performance is set for Optimize for Portability.

9.

Click OK.

10.

Click TRUE TYPE FONTS. Then, make sure that Type 1 is
active and that Substitute for True Type Fonts is checked.

11.

Click OK.

12.

Click OK again.
