LED indicators on the weld processor module show control
status. These indicators are described below:
PWR
This LED lights to indicate that the weld processor is
receiving power and is functioning normally.
F.C.
These LEDs light to indicate that the weld processor
card has sent the logic level firing signal to the firing
card. These lights are normally off and should only
turn on when current is provided by the weld
schedule.
MedLAN
These two LEDs light to show that communication is
occurring on the MedLAN channel.
DEP
These LEDs light to indicate that communication is
taking place between the data entry panel (DEP) and
the weld processor card.
RTW
This LED lights when the control is ready to weld. It
indicates that the control will provide current under
the following conditions:
•
No faults exist
•
The
CONTROL
STOP
input is not active (off is
active)
•
The control is in Weld Mode
•
The WCU is synchronized with the welding bus
•
The
SCR
OVER
TEMPERATURE
input is closed, or
•
The
TRANSFORMER
OVER
TEMP
input is closed.
IACK
This LED lights when the control starts executing a
weld schedule. It turns off when the control
completes weld schedule.
NWLD
This LED lights when the control is in No Weld
Mode.
BATT
This LED lights when the battery on the weld
processor card is low.
FLT
This LED lights when the processor detects a
condition you defined as a Fault in the setup
parameters.
PROC
This LED lights to indicate that the weld processor
detected either a RAM Failure, a shorted contactor or
an SLC I/O failure.
