The SureWeld stepper accurately measures the power factor 
during each cycle of weld. Power factor indicates changes in the 
electrical resistance of the weld. This, in turn, indicates the 
magnitude of weld expulsion. 

The SureWeld stepper compensates for tip wear by identifying 
the current level where expulsion occurs, then backing off the 
current to a point just below the level of expulsion. The SureWeld 
stepper automatically adjusts the current as required. 

To assign a SureWeld stepper to a weld schedule, you MUST 
include Function #83 as the first function in the weld schedule.
