Spreader calibration
It is very important that the weighcells and actuators be calibrated cor-
rectly for the spreader to function properly. Your spreader is supplied
calibrated. The actuators need only be recalibrated if one or both of
them are replaced.
Incorrect calibration will result in a deviating application rate and con-
sequent damage to the crop. For this reason, the sections in which
you carry out calibration are secured with a PIN code.
From the main screen:
Press the key switch on the main screen; you will now go to the
'Curve Calibration' screen.
Using the scroll key, go from the 'Curve calibration' to the 'PIN'
screen.
Press on the input field.
The popup keyboard appears on the screen.
Key in the PIN code; the code is 5.
Press the OK key to confirm the PIN code
or cancel with the cancel key.
The ‘Settings’ screen will now appear.
Actuators calibration
Actuator calibration is completely automatic. After calibration, the min-
imum (‘min’) and maximum (‘max’) values must be 10 and 1015.
The highest value concerns the left actuator, the lowest value the right
actuator.
From the ‘Settings’ screen:
Press the scroll key to go to the ‘Hopper&Act Calibration’ screen.
Press on the 'Cal' button of the actuator that you wish to calibrate.
Wait until calibration is complete and the new values appear on the
screen.
Indication
For safety reasons, you can stop the actuators at any time during cal-
ibration by pressing the OK key. You must then restart calibration.
Hopper weight calibra-
tion
The weighcells weigh the hopper's mass, including accessories fitted
to the hopper and the hopper content. The control system must know
the weight of the hopper content in order to, for example, to calculate
how many more hectares you can spread before the hopper is empty.
Or to sound the hopper alarm at the right time. For that reason, the
system memory must contain the weight of the empty hopper and the
accessories fitted to the hopper, such as the hopper extensions and
hopper cover. You can see the saved values on the ‘Hopper&Act cal-
ibration' screen.
