Spreading

To begin spreading, proceed as follows:

Close all the doors and windows in the cabin.

Drive the tractor to the first tramline, depending on the driving
pattern required, which may be recognised by the marker in place.

See section »Clearly define tramlines« on page 156.

Switch the control box on.

Check the settings as described in

section »Setting the control system« on page 153.

If you want, select and activate a site number in the site
registration,

see the section above.

Switch on the PTO shaft and set the correct spreading disc rpm as
reported in the spreading chart.

I

NDICATION

Do not allow the spreading disc to run for longer than is necessary
while the dosing units are closed. This will prevent the agitator from
grinding the fertiliser.

Start driving and open the dosing units at the same time by
pressing the start key.

I

NDICATION

There can be an increase or a decrease in traction due to different soil
conditions. This will have an influence on the driving speed and
therefore also the application rate (kg/ha).
The rpm of the tractor engine (therefore also of the PTO shaft) must
remain constant while spreading (with regards to distributing fertiliser
along the width).

The driving speed can only be adjusted by selecting another
speed!

I

NDICATION

If the hopper content becomes less than 100 kg, the control system
switches off the automatic calibration. Measurement accuracy declines
in such a way that new automatic calibration cannot produce a better
discharge curve.

Alarms while spreading

A few user alarms can sound while spreading.
The most common ones are:

Preset hopper alarm.

You are approaching the preset limit, whereby the automatic
calibration is switched off. Other values can also be entered to use the
alarm.

See section »Hopper alarm« on page 76.

Hopper 100% empty alarm

If you have sprayed the hopper completely empty this alarm will
sound.

See section »User's alarms« on page 95.

N

OTE

The alarm will continue until the stop button has been pushed!

This is related to continuous counting of parcel registration and/or
hectare count.
