Application rate
The machine is equipped with two actuators at the back, which service
a dosing plate each, in order to provide adjustment of dosing
quantities. This actuator can open the dosing plate in 90 different
positions. The required dosing setting is entered in the main menu of
the control system.

See section »Application rate« on page 112.
The actuators are controlled by means of the spreader operating
system.
One side can be closed off with the selection key under the relevant
symbol on the control box.
Fine application
Normal dosing
A dosing unit with 3 holes is used per disc to enable one to adjust the
dosing accurately.
Fine application
The spreader is equipped with fine application as standard equipment
to spread low application rates. This fine application can be adjusted
with a lever per dosing unit.
Low application rates require a small dosing opening. In order

to finely adjust the settings
•
and to counter the blockage
a transition to the opening, which is open wider, is desirable.
2 of the 3 dosing openings are closed when using the fine application
setting.
The dosing is then done through one large opening, which provides an
accurate and reliable flow, even for very low application rates.
