5. Place Settings
Place Position X indicates the X Axis (left/right) place posi-
tion. This is the position the pick head will move to when plac-
ing a part in the
Output Module .
Place Position Z indicates the Z Axis (up/down) place posi-
tion. This is the position the head nozzle will move to when
placing a part in the
Output Module .
Note: Place Position X and Z values can be entered
by manually moving the head and nozzle to the
desired positions. Once the nozzle is positioned, drag
and drop the
Current X and Current Z values listed at
the bottom of the screen into the corresponding boxes
or press the
Teach Place Position button.
Blow Off Time is the amount of time in milliseconds that the nozzle will activate the blow-off
pressure to place a part in the Output Module .
The Move To Place button moves the pick head to the preset Output Module place position.
The Place Part button moves the head from its current location and places a part into the pro-
grammed place position.
The Reject Part button moves the head from its current location and places a part into the reject
position. The reject location is the Reject Bin unless specified in the Tray Tab to be Rotate 180 or
Reject Tray . (See Tray Setup section for details.)
6. Nozzle Settings
Speed is the velocity at which the nozzle extends or retracts.
It can be set between 1-100.
Acceleration is how rapidly the nozzle will accelerate to
reach Nozzle Speed . It can be set between 1-100. The lower
the value of this setting, the more gradual the acceleration will
be.
Jog Step sets the distance in millimeters the nozzle will move
up or down each time a Jog button is pressed.
The Nozzle Jog Controls in the Nozzle Settings section jog
the head up or down along the Z Axis.
