Error Condition Solution
“The system Emergency Stop
has been pressed.” Release the E-Stop, then press the blue Reset button to
continue.
“The system doors are open
which disable the machine’s
motors.” Close all doors.
“The system was unable to pick
from this location.” Nozzle is not picking parts at the Input Module . Check
the following:
- Input Module is empty.
- Pick height is too high.
- Nozzle Pick Dwell Time is too low.
“The heat seal temp is out of
range!” The Heat Sealer on the Taper has not reached the cor-
rect temperature. Wait until sealer has had enough time
to reach the correct temperature.
“The tape jam sensor has been
activated.” Check carrier tape prior to Sealer to ensure part is not
sticking out of pocket. Remove any obstructions, then
resume operation.
“The cover tape is running low.” Refill cover tape.
“The carrier motion alarm has
been raised.” Carrier tape is not advancing. Check the following:

Taper is jammed.
- Sprocket holes in tape are malformed.

Taper out of tape.
“The carrier tape is running
low.” Refill carrier tape.
“An empty pocket has been
detected in the carrier tape.” Place a correctly oriented, valid part in the pocket that
triggered the alarm and resume operation.
“The inspection process has
timed out. No response was
received from the 2D Inspec-
tion Module.” This refers to the Upwards 2D Inspection Module. Check
the following:
- 2D Module is not enabled (Pre-Place Inspection ON)
- Cycle the system power on and off.
“The system’s air pressure is
too low!” Adjust incoming air pressure to a value between 80 and
100 PSI for optimum performance.
