TEL PBA (US/CA models: Option, SG/HK models: Standard)

This section describes the functions of the TEL PBA.

Fig.7-57

The TEL PBA is built in the cradle for the handset installed on this machine (US/CA models: Option,
SG/HK models: Standard).

The TEL PBA consists of the speech network IC (IC1) and other peripheral devices and relays signals
to the handset and detects the hook state of the handset. The TEL PBA is connected to CN8 on the
NCU PBA.
