5.3.4

Process Unit

The process unit consists of the drum unit and toner cartridge. The toner in the toner cartridge is trans-
ported to the sleeve roller via toner transport roller. Then it is adhered on the latent image area exposed
to the laser on the drum by the resin sleeve to create the toner image. The OPC (Organic Photo Con-
ductor) type is used for the drum.
