Lightspeed Live Capture User Guide

Live Capture/Vantage Array—with Separate Vantage Domain Database
and IIS Web Host Servers

For this example the Vantage master domain database and IIS Web server are installed
on two completely separate servers. Since this is a large system array containing six (6)
Vantage system and three (3) Live Capture servers, separating the database and Web
Server is recommended to prevent the database and IIS Web server resource
consumption from affecting the Live Capture and Vantage servers.

For additional information on best practices for Vantage and Vantage Databases, refer
to the Vantage Domain Management Guide and the publication Planning and Setting
Up a Vantage Database on the Telestream.net web site.
