Lightspeed Live Capture User Guide
CUDA Memory Limit
. Specifies the CUDA memory limit in MB.
Note:
When the CUDA Memory Limit is set to 0, GPU processing is disabled.
CUDA Tile Limit
. Specifies the CUDA tile limit.
Encoder Queue Size
. Specifies the encoder queue size.
Encode Less VBI
. When checked, the codec removes the top 32 lines for SD sources
that contain VBI data, ignoring more VBI lines in favor of frame size, in both NTSC and
PAL. In NTSC (512), the video is 486 lines; in PAL (608), the video is 576 lines.
JPEG2000 Lossy (Comprimato)
The Comprimato JPEG2000 Lossy codec encodes the input video into one output video
file in JPEG2000 format, using the JPEG2000 codec in lossy mode. Comprimato-based
ISO/ITU still image compression provides a fast and flexible solution for high-quality,
wavelet-based compression.
JPEG-2000 is an intra-frame HD video codec specified by ISO/IEC 15444-1. It uses
wavelet transformations to compress the image which results in high quality images in
both lossy and lossless modes. JPEG 2000 offers higher compression ratios over
standard JPEG video. It offers resolution, color, quality and position progression
scalability, and also supports 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling methods.
Codec Settings
Video Bit Rate
. Specifies the bit rate of the output in bits per second.
Quantization Coefficient
. Specifies quality (1-100). If set toward the lower bound it
reduces data correspondingly and quality decreases; if set toward the upper bound it
increases data and quality. The default value of 100 allows the full quality as set by the
bitrate to be used.
Pixel Format
. Specifies the color space, chroma subsampling, and bit depth to use for
encoding: RGB 4:4:4 8 bit or 10 bit | YUV 4:2:2 10 bit | YUV 4:2:2 8 bit.
Tile Partition Width
. Specifies the tile partition width in pixels.
Tile Partition Height
. Specifies the tile partition height in pixels.
Precinct Width and Height
. Specifies the precinct size.
Code-block Width and Height
. Specifies the height and width (in pixels) of a code
block to process.
Packet Progression Order
. Specifies the order of packet progression.
Decomposition Levels
. Specifies the maximum number of discrete wavelet transform
levels, or stages, to use (also known as Discrete Wavelet Transformation resolution).
Tile-Part Length Markers
. When checked, specifies that Tile Length Markers will be
used.
