2.5 Shim adjustment at the lower part of the
boom head (outer box)

(1) In width direction (F range), the clearance
between the slide plate and the outer box in width
direction shall be as minimum clearance by
inserting the shim. Then insert the inner box to
the outer box until in front of 1 m (3.28 ft) from
the boom full retraction.
(2) Make sure the difference between right and left of
the dimension G shall be 2 mm (0.08 in) or less.
Measure the dimension G at the about 50 mm
(2.0 in) lower position from the retainer lower
end.
(3) Refer to Table 4 about the amount of shim.
