Use the Power Button for Orderly Shutdown
1. Press and release the Power button on the server front panel.
The server performs an orderly shutdown to standby power mode.
2. To completely power off the server from standby power mode, disconnect the
power cables from the server.
The server powers down completely.

Use the Oracle ILOM CLI for Orderly Shutdown
1. Log in to the Oracle ILOM command-line interface (CLI) using an
Administrator account.
Oracle ILOM displays the default command prompt (
->
), indicating that you have
successfully logged in to Oracle ILOM.
2. From the CLI prompt, type the following command:

stop /System
The server performs an orderly shutdown to standby power mode.
3. To completely power off the server from standby power mode, disconnect the
power cables from the server.
The server powers down completely.
