A touchscreen calibration can be started by pressing the touchscreen for 25 seconds. This
text message will appear after 25 seconds.
Remedy: Check touchscreen and clean if necessary. This text message may also appear in
the event of a touchscreen short circuit. In this case: Turn the device off and on again, and
contact KARL STORZ Service if the error occurs again.
FE: A touch screen activation lasting more than 25 s has been detected
501: Touch calibration This text message is part of the touchscreen calibration procedure (see text message 500)
and is displayed after the touchscreen is touched continuously for 30 seconds.
The screen must be released and touched again within 5 seconds in order to start
calibration.
